Book Review Posters
The Lightning Bugs got to choose which class chapter book was their favorite of the year. Then, they made a persuasive poster to advertise to the current 1st Graders which book they liked best. Mr. Pittman's class came to visit and they had a chance to present their work!
How Do Seeds Travel?
We started a science unit on seeds last week and made some seed models to see how seeds can travel. It was fun to see how different seeds with different structures moved!
Spring Fling
The Lightning Bugs had such an amazing time at the Spring Fling on Friday! Our PTO sure does know how to put on a fun party to celebrate the first day of spring! Look at these happy faces!
How Do Rivers Flow?
We did a science experiment to see what would happen when it rained on a mountain peak and how it would affect how a river forms and flows! It was interesting to see the paths that the water took as it began forming streams going downward!
March is Reading Month

A Fun Visitor
Students were so excited last week when Mrs. Lloyd popped in for a winter visit! She caught us just as we were coming in from recess!
Christmas in a Bag
Students waited patiently while we played a riddle game to find the bags they would receive. Each student read the riddle, then opened the bag. All of the "thank you", "you're welcome" and "I love its" were awesome to hear!! It was a joyful afternoon!!
